From the Cab of the Combine

Harvesting is progressing amidst the showers. Here is a birds-eye view.

The Saskatchewan Pulse Growers provide a more detailed explanation of Harvest management. This field had rocks picked and was rolled so that the header can be very low to the ground when combining to pick up all those short lentils.

We have two combines working in this field today.

A look at the process of emptying the hopper on the combine into the grain cart.

A glitch with a hydraulic hose on the tractor pulling the grain cart resulted in another trip to Swift Current for the repair.

Just another day …..
